LAS VEGAS — Leonard Miller turned in a game-high 21 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 93-83 victory over the Houston Rockets in the NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas on Thursday at Thomas and Mack Center.

The Timberwolves jumped out to a great start and led 29-16 after one quarter. The Rockets picked up their effort in the second and managed to trim it back to a seven-point game by halftime. They stayed strong in the third and chipped away to make it just a three-point difference entering the final quarter. The Timberwolves regained focus in the fourth and maintained the upper hand the rest of the way to close out the 10-point win.

Miller shot 9-for-17 from the field and picked up 11 rebounds, five assists, five steals and a block to go with his team-leading performance for the Timberwolves. Daishen Nix followed up with 16 points, five rebounds, seven assists and two steals, while Josh Minott and Rob Dillingham chipped in 15 points each.

Reed Sheppard led the way for the Rockets with 20 points, five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and a block. AJ Griffin followed up with 15 points, five rebounds and a steal, while Orlando Robinson accounted for 12 points, nine rebounds, a steal and a block.
