Catches fire in SL
The sharpshooter was precisely that Saturday, connecting on 50 percent of his 16 three-point attempts. The 26-year-old spent the 2023-24 campaign with the Wizards' G League affiliate, where he averaged 9.4 points per game on 42/38/80 shooting splits.

Won't play in SL finale
It's not expected that Sarr is dealing with an injury, considering he is one of seven prominent players taking a seat for Washington's final Summer League contest. The No. 2 overall pick struggled on the offensive end in Vegas, but flashed the rim protection and defensive versatility that makes him such an intriguing prospect at seven feet tall.

Shooting woes continue Thursday
Sarr has been ice cold in Las Vegas, converting just 19.1 percent of his shot attempts through his first four games in Summer League. His first, and only, bucket Thursday didn't come until the closing minute of the first half, and he then proceeded to chuck up another three donuts after halftime. On the plus side, he added 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block, so while his offense is certainly a work in progress, Sarr has been able to show he can steadily provide defensive stats.
