The Denver Nuggets have agreed to send guard Reggie Jackson to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for three unprotected second-round picks, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Jackson, a 6-foot-2 guard who was a key factor off the bench for the 2023 NBA champion Nuggets, averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 assists during the 2023-24 season in Denver. The 13-year veteran played in all 82 games and stepped into the starting lineup for 23 games for injured starter Jamal Murray.

The move brings a seasoned vet to the backcourt in Charlotte, where Hornets star LaMelo Ball continues to recover from an ankle injury that shut him down for the season.

The Hornets also selected forward Tidjane Salaun of France in the lottery with the No. 6 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.
