Prohibited Items:
- Large Banners and Flags: Spectators are not permitted to use or wave flags, banners, signs or other items that are affixed to any pole or stick made of wood, metal, plastic or any other hard material, and that is more than 11” x 17” in A limited exception applies to team provided placards at 1,000 placards per end zone with a maximum size of 14” x 22”. These placards must be held in the individual’s hand and may not be mounted on a stick.
- The following items cannot be brought into the arena by spectators, cannot be provided to fans by any team (either by sale or giveaway) and cannot be used by any team employees (including, but not limited to players, mascots, and dance team members) during any NBA game.
- Whistles and Horns. Whistles, foghorns/airhorns and plastic horns, such as vuvuzelas and didgeridoos.
- Laser Pointers. Laser pointers or any similar
- Optical Illusions. Items intended to create optical illusions or interfere with the ability of the eye to perceive depth or distance, such as pin wheels or umbrellas.
- The following is a non-exhaustive list of additional items that cannot be brought into the arena by fans:- Weapons (e.g., firearms, tasers/stun guns, and knives of all sizes)
– Aerosol cans
– Fireworks
– Frisbees
– Beverages
– Mace or Pepper Spray
– Poles, selfie-sticks, tripods, monopods and missile-like objects that can be thrown
– Strollers
– Tripods
– Beach balls
– Bats and clubs
– Drones
– Professional and/or commercial cameras with interchangeable or detachable lenses
– Audio/visual recording devices (includes GoPro, Google Glass, Spectacles etc.)
– Clothing, garments or signs displaying explicit language, profanity or derogatory characterization towards any person(s)
– Illegal substances
– Any bags within the required size limits are required to be screened with X-ray technology; and
– Any items an arena deems, in its discretion, to be dangerous - Use of any prohibited item must be reported to Arena Security and the item must be confiscated.
